Nova EraNova Era
If you think a classical performance is too formal or dull, then you owe it to yourself to check out Nova Era.  Based in Orlando, Nova Era is breathing new life into classical music with a modern approach. The blend of traditional and contemporary music is nothing short of sensational. Nova Era performs in handcrafted 18th century costumes, and ornate, powdered wigs.  This beautiful touch lends an authenticity which lifts the music to a higher level.  At first glance, you might think you are attending an 18th century concert -- that is, until you see the electric instruments, taking a giant leap into the 21st century.  This visual combination of old and new perfectly reflects the music of Nova Era.

US Navy Jazz ComboUS Navy Jazz Combo
Navy Band Southeast’s VIP Combo is an eight-piece group performing a variety of Jazz standards and instrumental popular music.  They are sure to add a “touch of class” to your official reception, luncheon or dinner party.  This group has also been showcased at various Jazz festivals and schools throughout the region.

Junkanoo
Junkanoo is an expression of Bahamian culture. It is now the national festival of the Bahamas and has its roots traced back to West Africa. The rhythmic yet powerful sounds of Junkanoo are produced by traditional Bahamian instruments for example, the goat skin drum or Goombay drum, cowbells and bugel. The costumes of Junkanoo in modern times are comprised of several basic materials, cardboard, metals(aluminum), crepe paper for colour, glitter, rhinestones and glass for decorations. Junkanoo is simply a gift given to a people by their ancestors.

Charlie GearCharlie Gear
A native Floridian, Charlie Gear began playing the violin as a teenager when his younger brother, Jim Gear, bought him his first violin. Charlie was fortunate to have had early training with David Davidson, a well-known studio violinist and Celtic artist in the Nashville area. Charlie's works comprise a wide variety of original instrumental tunes, backed by his own composed accompaniment, which fuse a New Age/blues/jazz/celtic feel. His ability to transfer his passion for life to others through his music is what listeners recognize as ''playing from his heart''. Charlie was awarded Best Instrumental Composer in both 2003 and 2005 by the Songwriters Showcase of America. He is currently working on his third CD.
